I’m so pleased that we went ahead and quickly built these inexpensive diy closet shelves ourselves. For each shelf, you’ll need two support brackets { the 1×2’s }, one piece of plywood, and 4 screws. Use a quality wood filler to fill in all the nail holes and joints to give it a smooth finish.

Level, drill pilot holes, add wood glue, and screw into studs in at least 2 places.
